Upgrading EKS nodes provisioned by Karpenter

This is a continuation of the previous blog post where we explored how to get started with Karpenter and how to create a “nodelesss” EKS cluster by using Fargate to host Karpenter.

EKS node upgrade is part of the operational activities and it is considered a best practice to use the latest version as it includes new Kubernetes patches and security updates. Depending on the organisation, you may be required to upgrade the nodes on a set frequency to comply with the security policy.
